Rayna Williams is what you call a humble introvert. She stays to herself and only confides in her best friend. While dealing with an abusive boyfriend, Rayna tried her best to keep a smile on her face for the outsiders looking in. However, Tony does everything in his power to break her down and belittle her every chance he gets.

When things become too much for Rayna, she finds comfort in her work as a Correctional Officer. That is, until she begins to fall for Jewels, an inmate who rules the prison with an iron fist.

After shocking secrets are revealed Rayna’s world is turned upside down and there seems to be no light at the end of her tunnel. As if what Tony and Shanti did wasn’t enough, the skeletons in Jewels’ closet are far worse than what she could have imagined.
